Devin graduated with a BS in Psychology from Florida State University in 2000, and a MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology in 2003 from Roosevelt University. Devin holds the distinguished certification of SHRM-CP, which is a global standard through the Society of Human Resource Management, which represents credibility and mastery of HR principles and standards. Devin has spent over 15 years as a HR Generalist & HR Manager in the retail and healthcare industries. Devin specializes in helping business owners stay compliant with employment law, policies and procedures, employee handbook, FMLA, recruitment and retention goals, handbook and onboarding best practices, along with general HR consulting.
Devin is also the MVP and Team Captain for the Zimmer Family. She finds her joy in raising three boys, volunteering with the Valparaiso YMCA, Hilltop Neighborhood House Food Pantry, Central Elementary’s weekend backpack & snacks program, Lotus Reach School Closet & loves giving back to the community that she is proud to be part of. Devin is an amazing woman that is living a legacy of impact with Ethos and the Porter County Community.
